Incredible Hulk..A Ballerina and Nemo. What do these things have in common?

Picking out pumpkins, it was SO cold outside. That is why Scarlett is having less than a wonderful time.

I love the look on Atticus' face. This is the first year we got him to actually stick his hand in the pumpkin without crying. He did like it and how gross it was.

Scarlett designed the first one based on drawings that Jon did. Atticus drew the face on the middle one and Jon carved it. I did the last one with a pattern from those books, it was alot of carving, I wasn't too impressed.

She's one year old

What a summer!

Camping trip in August with my side of the family. We just stayed one night up Ogden Canyon, but we didn't get rained on, so it was a success.

I did get the kids this fun sprinkler for our yard. Scarlett mostly drank the water.

The Bountiful 24th of July parade. It was hot, hot, hot and Atticus got sunscreen in his eyes(poor thing).

Swimming at Becca's pool in July. I think Atticus stayed in the pool the whole time we were there. I didn't buy a pool this year for the kids, I will have to next summer.

My Little Helpers

They empty the dishwasher for me, they put the dishes on the counter, but they do put the silverware away and it's a big help.

Here's the proof, Veronica is now standing up to everything, and very mobile.

Bear Lake 2009

So the water is up so high this year that there was no beach, just tall, prickly weeds. The kids still found this sand or mud to play in.

Playing catch in the water with Niki and Lyndsie. Atticus is hunched over because the water was freezing! My feet made it in and that's all! Jon went to all the trouble to put his swimsuit on so he went out and swam, head under the water and everything. I should have got a picture to document it.

Summer Outings

Jon had vacation in July so we were able to do some fun things as a family.

I got this idea from Audrey to post her stats. It's fun to see how big she is compared to Scarlett and Atticus at the same age. Here's a picture of her cute little teeth, actually they're finally big enough to see them in a photo. Veronica is doing good, getting into everything. This last weekend she started climbing up the stairs so we had to get the gates out.

Summer Vacation

So Jon has completed his Associates Degree at SLCC. We are all very proud of him and he finished the semester with three A's and an A-, not too shabby! Oh and the rest of us survived the semester also. Now it's summer break the first break we've had in three years, Yea!! So this was last Sunday night, a very relaxed(yet still annoyed that his picture was being taken)Jon. Also as you can see from the picture the kids love having him around and just won't leave him alone. It's back to school in the Fall at Weber, but for now... PARTY!
